Virtual Center Perućica

On the day of 25.06.2020., the project ′′ Virtual Reality in Perucica ′′ was presented at Tentiste. The specific goal of this project is to Valorize the cultural and natural heritage of BiH and improve the volume, quality and visibility of tourism through the establishment of the first Virtual Reality Educational Center in this part of Europe. The total value of the project ′′ Virtual Reality in Perucica ′′ is more than 280.000 euros, from which the European Union has allocated more than 240.000 euros of grants within the EU4Business project. The project is being carried out between June 2020. and November 2021. in the area of Sutjeska National Park. The project ′′ Virtual Reality in Perućica ′′ strengthens the development of tourism in the national park in an innovative way, while respecting environmental protection. The project will pay special attention to preservation of nature reserves – Perućica rainforest located on UNESCO’s tentative list. Visitors and tourists will be allowed to explore the protected area through the Center for Virtual Reality, as well as the use of new tourist products. Among other things, educational programs for different targeted audience are offered. Partners on the project are NP Sutjeska (leading partner), Faculty of Forestry of Banjaluka University and company Matrix d.o.o. Pale.
